Ambiance:
From the outside the restaurant seemed like it was going to be cozy and quiet inside. It was definitely cozy, warm, and family oriented but far from quiet. It was so loud that I couldn’t hear background music or the televisions. It did not really affect my dinning experience though since I talked to my friends the whole time.

Cleanliness:
The cleanliness of Max and Erma’s was excellent. The restaurant was overall very clean. From the floors to the table, to the silver ware, plate and cup, all aspects of the restaurant was very clean.

Quality of food:
I had ordered the chicken strips and french fries and they were cooked to perfection. The fries were seasoned and nice and crispy. The chicken was cooked great as well being crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. All of the food everyone ordered was great because I did not hear one person complain about it.

Service:
The service at the restaurant was a little disappointing. Yes it was a very busy weekend and we had a lot of people but I did not think it was going to be that slow. It took us 45 minutes to be seated then took a very long time to order and receive our drinks and food. As well as getting our checks a little confused. At least our waiter kept a positive attitude the entire time.

Presentation:
The overall presentation of Max and Erma’s really made everything fun. We were seated in the golfing section since there was a picture of Tiger Woods and a golf cart near our table. You wouldn’t see that at many restaurants. The layout of the tables was nice as well because you weren’t sitting on top of strangers. There were also televisions to watch and the presentation of our food was great.

If you are looking for a restaurant with excellent food and a fun family atmosphere, Max and Erma’s is the place to go. I recommend this restaurant because of there amazing food but try to go when it is less busy.
Very interesting. I'll keep this in mind if I ever go to Columbus. This is part of why I don't go to some restaurants. Service counts for so much.
ReplyDeleteWhen i ate at Max and Erma's in Columbus about a year ago, they were packed! We just barly found a sit, but im glad we did! I had one of the best hamburgers that i have ever had! When you said you had poor service, i did not experience this. MY waiter was not always there when we needed him, but was funny and almost entertained us in a way. I loved this restaraunt, and cant wait to go back!
