Texas Roadhouse

Service:
The service I received was very shaby. I had long waits for reservationas and food. My first waitress got in an argument with my mother and the manager had to get us another waitress.

Cleanliness:
The restaraunt floor was covered with peanut shells, and the booths were so filthy I had to kick peanut shells out from underneath my feet. But the plates and silverware were quite clean.

Ambiance:
Texas Roadhouse reminds me of an old country bar. The peanut shells all over the floor creates a sort of party atmosphere. The decor makes you feel that you are in the wild west with all the animal heads on the wall.
4 out of 5 stars
Quality of Food:
The servings of food are larger than needed, and the food is seasoned and cured with just the right seasonings. The robust tender steak melted like butter when my dull knife cut through it. The food was really exceptional.
5 out of 5 stars
Presentation: The food was presented in an old fashioned country manner. I'm not the luxurious type so this really suited me.

If you just want some good country cooking I recommend Texas Roadhouse.
I have only been to Texas Roadhouse once and that was quite a while ago. I had a great experience with their food as well as you. I'll have to go back soon again.

I argree with you on the crappy service. however, the ambiance is quite overwhelming in my opinion with all the loud music. A person can hardly carry on a conversation. I do believe they have spectacular food!

I love eating at Texas Road House with my family. They have great food and I like hearing the crunch of peanut shells as I walk through the restaurant. I agree that it can be kind of loud but it doesn't bother me because noise is a constant in a restaurant where people take their families.
ReplyDeleteI used to enjoy TX Road House as well. However, I had an incident with undercooked chicken that turned me off. Perhaps it's time I give it another chance.
