A Taste of Italy: My inside edition on Olive Garden

Scale (1-5; 1 meaningbad and 5 meaning good)
Ambiance
When I arrived toOlive Garden I wasn’t too fond of the outside because its right beside theParkersburg Grand Central Mall and there is traffic almost everywhere thereforeit’s noisy. Also there are never good parking spots because they are alwaysbusy. When I entered Olive Garden it was so peaceful and it looked veryprofessional. It was very quiet in the restaurant and the overall atmospherewas beyond great. Rating 4 out of 5
Service
The hosts/hostess’were generous and extremely nice. I felt very welcomed by their attitude. Eventhe waiters/waitress’ were tremendous, their service was amazing and theyweren’t in your face 24’7 asking if everything was alright. Our waitressbrought our salad, and breadsticks to the table then came back with our foodand only asked us once how our food was. It was great to have a little privacy.Rating 5 out of 5
Presentation
Everything went greatat Olive Garden because the restaurant was so sophisticated inside and thestaff was really enjoyable. It was very classy inside because of the lovelywallpaper and pictures and the beautiful Italian music. The waitress had aproper manor when asking us questions. I was very pleased of the overallappearance of the whole restaurant. Rating 5 out of 5
Food
The food was amazingand I wish I could go there every day just to have their Italian food. It’sawesome that they serve breadsticks and salad before you get your food becauseif you’re starving and can’t wait until your food is at the table, you cansnack on the appetizer. I’m overly obsessed with the meal I get which is aCheese Ravioli with Marinara Sauce smother on top of it. It was very hot whenit came out and it was great. I could taste so many spices in my meal it wasgreat. Rating 5 out of 5
Cleanliness
Olive Garden was soclean I could bring a white glove and leave with the glove spotless. It’s niceto eat at a restaurant that isn’t dirty or trashy looking. Olive Garden had noannoying bugs flying around or random stains on their carpet. It didn’t justlook clean inside it smelled clean as well. When walking into Olive Garden Ican smell food like no other and it smells very fresh. I am always delighted bythe sanitation of Olive Garden. Rating 5 out of 5
My general experienceof Olive Garden was great. I enjoyed the ambiance and staff. Also the food andservice was awesome. I believe Olive Garden is an amazing restaurant to attendif you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or just want to have a nicedinner. I would give Olive Garden 4 out of 5 stars only because of theoutside ambiance. If they could change up the parking lot so there is morespace, I’m sure they would have more people eating at their restaurant.

  1. I love Olive Garden's food, but, like you said yourself, you basically have to fight over a parking spot. Even though the mall and traffic are right outside the window, they do a good job of showcasing a nice quality restaurant.

  2. Lunch at Olive Garden is often better than dinner seeing as how it is often less busy and easier to find a parking spot. Taking away that one negative aspect, it is a wonderful dining experience. I am also a little obsessed with the breadsticks, especially dipped in alfredo sauce. Try it sometime, you won't regret it.
