A Taste of Tumbleweed's
Zanesville, Ohio
Ambiance: The locale’s ambiance was like most sit-down dining restaurants. There were several pots of yellow and orange mums planted outside the restaurant by three benches. When walking into the restaurant, the sun shining in from the windows warms the room, but keeps it at a comfortable temperature. The rooms have a variety of seating arrangements for small parties or large ones. The table cloths were white with a rose design along the edge that matched the cloth napkins, and the chairs were comfortable old fashioned wooden ones that topped off the relaxing ambiance.
Score: 5 out of 5 stars
Cleanliness: The cleanliness of Tumbleweed’s is superb. The floor seemed to gleam with reflections of the people who walked on it, as did the silverware. The table cloth and cloth napkins were spotless as if they had never been used. There was no leftover food or trash from other parties anywhere to be seen.
Score: 5 out of 5 stars
Quality of food: My water was ice cold and had beads of sweat dripping off the outside of the glass to show it that satisfied my thirst. The ribs I ordered fell loosely off the bone as I tore into them with my fork. The toast that came with my dinner was golden-brown, toasted to absolute perfection. The butter and garlic mix on top of it turned it into a delicious masterpiece that made my mouth water just looking at it. The salad I ordered was fresh as the lettuce leaves crunched between my teeth. The food’s serving size was over the top and not one of the forty people I ate with actually finished their meals.
Score: 5 out of 5
Service: The waitress greeted our party cheerfully and was happy to get us anything we needed. She sincerely wanted to be there or at least showed that when she was around us. Between getting our orders, she kept our glasses and chip and salsa bowls full, which we definitely appreciated. When she saw we were finished eating, she got us our bills and passed them out to the right people.
Score: 5 out of 5 stars
Presentation: The presentation was above superb. The waitresses all had on matching uniforms, which were completely clean. When our waitress brought our orders, other waitresses helped her carry out the many trays we had so we would not have to wait for our waitress to go back and forth getting more. When placing our order sin front of us, she was considerate not to reach rudely in front of anyone.
Score: 5 out of 5 stars
Total Score: 5 out of 5stars
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience. Not only was my meal superb, but the overall presentation and ambiance was magnificent. Anyone from a small party to a large party, from adults to children, or a team celebrating a victory will love this restaurant. So, if you go through Zanesville anytime soon, stop byTumbleweed’s and try it out for yourself!
