Shoney Time: Fine and Dine!!

Ambiance
The feel of the restaurant was a home like atmosphere, besides the wall of WVU merchandise for sale on the entire front wall as you enter. The restaurant was well lite, and comfortable to be in.

Cleanliness
Shoney's was very clean, they kept the floors swept, and the tables and booths were cleaned immediately after the customers left. They kept the buffet area very clean, they wiped off the ledges as well as the area around each item on the buffet. The only problem I noticed was the stickiness of the floor beside the dessert table, and the dust on the pictures on the wall for sale.

Food Quality and Service
The service was pretty good, the waitress was polite, and well groomed. She always kept a smile on her face, and made sure are glasses stayed full. The food on the buffet was exceptionally good, for the most part buffet food is ok, massed produced. But the food was always hot, and delicious the meal that I ate reminded me of homemade food.

Presentation
The presentation of Shoney's had a home feeling, the set up of the tables, and booths were set at a nice distance so that your not bumping into someone every time I get up from the table. The buffet was the center point of the restaurant which seemed to draw me towards the food that was on the buffet. The presentation of the buffet was surprisingly clean, and well put together; it makes it easy to want to choose the buffet for the meal that will be ate.

If you are looking for a great meal, with a good price and a homelike atmosphere, I recommend going to Shoney's in Ripley WVA. The food was exceptionally good, the restarant was kept clean, and the service was very good. If your ever in Ripley for any other reason stop and have lunch or dinner, you will be sure to enjoy it.
