A Walk On the Spicy Side: Fun Family Times at Don Emilio’s

Ambiance

Don Emilio’s is a super friendly restaurant and you see that as soon as you walk through the door. Everyone in the restaurant has a great time and it is never silent with all of the different families laughing with each other. With the way the restaurant is set up it’s like everyone is having dinner together and it makes for a very family friendly atmosphere. The various Mexican-ish decorations on the walls add a level of fun to the hole experience.

Presentation

The presentation at Don Emilio’s is much more causal than most restaurants. If your looking to have dinner at a fancy and refined restaurant than Don Emilio’s isn’t the right place for you. The servers all wear black pants and various colored Don Emilio’s polo shirts. The tables are usually clean and the silverware is wrapped in paper napkins. If your looking for a nice restaurant where you can have fun and a good meal than it’s the place for you.

Service

Don Emilio’s has always been good when it comes to service. We have never had a rude waitress or one that never checks on us. The waitress we had this time was no exception. She was very polite and joked around with us whenever she was around. She was very good about keeping our drinks full and we never had to wait around for her to bring us something. She kept that up throughout our entire dinner and when we were leaving she politely told us to have a nice night.

Cleanliness

Most of the times that I have been to Don Emilio’s the tables are clean and the floor is usually pretty clean. There have been a few times when we have sat down at a table and we have to ask the server to wipe it off for us. While at Don Emilio’s I witnessed one of the busboys do a very poor job of cleaning off one of the tables but our table was completely clean when we sat down.

Food Quality

I ordered the original nachos which is a plate of tortilla chips with melted cheese over top and I ordered a side bowl of cheese sauce. This is really the only dish that I like at Don Emilio’s but the reason I like it is because it’s delicious. The two different cheeses and the salt from the chips create a very nice mixture and it makes for a very delicious meal. Most of the other meals at Don Emilio’s have meat in them and there is something about the meat at Don’s that I don’t like. I think it all depends on the person who is eating it.

Overall

Don Emilio’s is a great place to sit down and have a meal with your family. Everyone is very polite and the entire time you’re surrounded by people who are having just as much fun as you are. The food is good and you can get it for a good price. You never have to wait in line to be seated and you never have to wait for your drink to be filled. The kitchen gets the food out quickly and while you’re waiting you can enjoy a basket of chips and a bowl of Don Emilio’s delicious salsa. If your looking for a nice restaurant that isn’t too expensive, has good food and is lots of fun then you should head over to Don Emilio’s.
